The geography books talked of distant rivers whose waters ran red. And, in the pictures, they seemed terrifying to behold. But that was until she visited one. The river ran red with the blood of the land, with fertile soil that nourished millions of people whose lives depended on it. It was the red of her ancestors, of countless generations before and after her who would all stand on the banks of the roaring red and marvel at its ruddy hue.
Find beauty in the unlikeliest things, when you wear this gorgeous blue and red saree made of cotton and acrylic, and embellished with zari.

This Tussar blouse with brown embroidery is a beauty!
The Tussar silk is a material that is synonymous with richness and lush beauty. This material is woven using silk threads obtained from the cocoons of silkworms belonging to the moth genus Antheraea. Since most of these silkworms are found in forest areas, Tussar silk is also known to be a wild silk variety or a forest product. The characteristic features of this material are the deep gold colour that the silk exudes and the amazing texture. This kind of silk is thicker than normal silk but needs to be taken care of and preserved since the fibres are shorter and can result in a decrease in durability. But then, anything precious has to be taken care of, right? The natural sheen of this fabric is inimitable and is perfect for festive occasions as well as when you want the spotlight on you!
The magical feel of this fabric combined with the weaving skills of talented weaver results in a fabric that will embrace you and make you shine!

Polyester is a synthetically manufactured fabric that is known for its durability and a characteristic texture. The making of this blouse from fabric is an extensive process where our karigars and tailors come together. First, the master tailor makes a pattern on a brown paper for each size. Our karigars then trace this pattern onto the netted fabric of the blouse. This is then secured to a wooden frame for the hand embroidery to be done. Once this is done, the glitter is pasted onto the design and left to dry. When the fabric is finally ready, it goes to the tailors for the final cutting and sewing. And then behold! the magic of the blouse comes alive!

Human handling lends the fabrics a unique feel and renders the fabrics more value. The art of hand weaving is labour intensive and takes a longer time. But, the beauty it adds to the fabric is priceless. In the books and stories, the good guys always won. But life was rarely like the stories – all around her she saw injustice, cruelty, hatred and prejudice. On most days, it seemed as though it didn’t matter what you did or what you said; you would never win. But did that really mean that the stories meant nothing? She pondered over the thought for several sleepless nights, tracing the image of the goddess slaying a demon with her mind’s eye. And then it struck her. The enemy wasn’t an external foe or a foreboding monster. It lay within her, in every negative emotion that threatened to weigh her down. It was battle that she fought every day and she knew that choosing to be more mindful about it would ensure that the good side won, every time.
